MafiaOC Game

Aim

Help a solo Yorkshire developer finish MafiaOC, a 1940s crime-dynasty strategy game for PC, and bring it to Steam.

My vision

I grew up loving crime-management strategy games, and I want to make one with modern 3D visuals and deeper choices, where your family’s story carries on from one generation to the next. The base game covers the 1940s. If MafiaOC does well, later eras will follow as expansions.

My long-term goal is to make games full time. Right now I build MafiaOC around a full-time job. Your support helps me move closer to doing this every day, and to starting GhostStudios’ next project in the new year.

How the money will be used

My target is [£ amount]. It will go on:

• A more powerful development PC: to build, test and run MafiaOC properly
• Software and licences: the tools I need to make the game
• Art and 3D models: characters, vehicles and 1940s buildings
• Music and sound: a period soundtrack and sound effects
• Testing and launch: playtesting, bug fixing and getting MafiaOC onto Steam

Anything raised beyond the target will help me spend more time on GhostStudios and get the next game started.
