Latimer Community Art Therapy

RCN 1206182, London

Latimer Community Art Therapy (LCAT) is a small grassroots charity that grew from the devasting aftermath of the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017. We successfully transition to a charity in December 2023, we continue to provide frontline support to hundreds of children, adults and families in our community. We are a therapeutic organisation that has a unique community focused approach to mental health, providing consistent professional support through art psychotherapy in schools and community settings. LCAT represent hope in the darkest of times and resilience in the face of adversity.

Latimer Community Art Therapy (LCAT) is a grass roots charity which provides accessible professional mental health support through art psychotherapy as well providing community services and activities, to support creativity, physical, social, and emotional development.

Our home, the Henry Dickens community centre (HD) is an inclusive, safe, and inspirational space for the community. Evolving from the tragedy of Grenfell LCAT has substantial firsthand experience in community recovery and post disaster working.  With a strong therapeutic underpinning in all service delivery areas.
