Dancing at the world championships in Florida is every dancer’s ultimate dream. You can help us make that dream come true!
Who are we?We are Pure Dance Workz, a community and completely self-funded dance school based in Swinton, Salford, Manchester. Our school is in its 13th year of operation and currently comprises of around 75 dancers and 6 coaches, male and female, from the ages of 4- 70 years old. We practice and compete nationally in Pom, Hip-Hop and Lyrical dance disciplines.

This season has been a particularly successful one for us. Three out of our six teams have been crowned as division champions and have therefore qualified for entry into the All Star World Championships in April 2026.
Attending this competition is a ‘dream come true’ for any dancer. It takes place yearly in Orlando, Florida. Here, teams from across the globe compete against one another to become ‘World Champions’. Who wouldn’t want that title?

Pure is completely self-funded. We rely solely on our parents and dancers for any monetary contributions we need to operate. Monies paid monthly by dancers are just enough to pay our studio’s rent and amenities costs. Dancers also pay for their own costumes and competition fees.
As a community dance school our highest priority is to keep costs at the absolute minimum for dancers/parents so we try to do as much fundraising as possible. We do this in terms of weekly bonus ball schemes, football cards, raffles, car boot sales, family fun days etc. This fundraising gets us through each year, BUT it will not get us to Florida.

If you were in any position to help us, then your generous donations will go towards the cost of the dancers’ kit needed to compete.
Pure is a lifeline for many children and adults in our community and not just those with a dancing talent. Many of our dancers come from under privileged backgrounds.
Being part of Pure is like being part of a large, extended family. We provide a safe and equal place for all our dancers and their families. We welcome any new members, at any time and of any dance ability – our door is always open.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
