As a result of the recent COVID-19 outbreak, the Scottish Seabird Centre is in trouble. They need to raise 200k by the end of July or their doors may sadly close for the last time. As a small business that raises funds for a number of British wildlife charities, we had to do something to help. So we have created a limited edition puffin print to raise awareness and funds for SSC.
The prints are £15, and we will donate £5 from each print directly to SSC. Our target is £10k, with a £3333 donation to SSC. We would be so grateful if you could help us raise awareness of the campaign and also make a donation.
ABOUT THE SCOTTISH SEABIRD CENTRE
The SSC is an education and conservation charity dedicated to inspiring people to care for wildlife and the natural environment (Reg Charity SCO25837). The centre has been connecting people and nature for 20 years, inspiring them to love and care for our iconic seabirds and marine wildlife. The need to protect the marine environment has never been greater. All their education and conservation activities motivate people to make positive changes in their own lives to protect our marine environment now and in the future.
Due to the closure of their Visitor Centre in response to the COVID-19 crisis, the charity's future is under threat. Your donation will help secure their future, giving more people the opportunity to engage with Scotland's marine environment. It will also support their community conservation action now and in years to come.
ABOUT CREATURE CANDY
Our little business is made up of a team of three people - Lizzie, Della & Ruth. Hi! Our primary aims are to raise awareness of declining wildlife and raise funds for wildlife charities. All our products feature declining British wildlife species and we donate 10% from every sale price to twelve different wildlife charities including the Bat Conservation Trust and the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.
All our products are designed, made or printed in the UK. We have now donated almost £10,000 as a result of sales so far. At a time when much of Britain’s wildlife is in dramatic decline, Creature Candy helps make a difference and will hopefully inspire others to do the same.
LIMITED EDITION PUFFIN PRINT

Our beautiful prints feature a hand drawn image of a puffin Fratercula arctica. Each print is presented on textured paper, giving the image a sense of depth and realism. They are A4 sized and are designed and made in England. The prints are printed on FSC approved paper, are inserted into biodegradable cello bags and come unframed.
A pledge of £15 will cover the cost of the print and postage. Prints will be posted within two weeks of the end of the crowdfunding campaign.
If you live abroad and would like a print, please email us before you pledge and we will try to arrange this for you.
