Your generous donations will help us to protect Cambridge's nature by improving habitats with the help of volunteers
Thanks to your generosity more than £17,000 has been donated since the campaign launched in early July! We are still fundraising so that we can do more - more trees, more habitat, more wildlife and more joy for visitors. We look after 550 acres so there's alot we can do together!
When you donate ££ or Avios points both British Airways Executive Club and BA Community Fund will match your gift up to a total of £30,000 so please give as much as you can and as many Avios points as you can spare to help make a big difference to improving nature in Cambridge as very Avios point becomes £3!
We want to raise a new stretch target of £20,000 so that in Winter 23/24 we can:
Your 4:1 match funded donations will go towards the following activities:
Restoring woodland to capture carbon and improve habitat

- Improve flower meadows

- Lay new hedges

- Cutting scrub to improve habitats

Cambridge, Past, Present & Future is the only independent, local charity that looks at the bigger picture of the development of Cambridge. Whether historic buildings, green spaces, nature, housing or infrastructure – we are passionate about all of it. Protecting, enhancing and celebrating all that’s good about this special city, and its surrounding areas.
CPPF cares for 550 acres of green spaces which are open to the public and free to access – Wandlebury Country Park, Coton Nature Reserve and Barnwell Meadows. We care for green spaces, improve habitats and offer volunteering.
CPPF also runs an education programme for 2,000 + local school children each year to learn about nature and hosts 100+ cultural and educational events each year, most of which are free to attend, including the first ever Cambridge Nature Festival.
