The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of British small businesses, which is going to make it very challenging for businesses to survive. Together we can help them. 

Crowdfunder is offering their platform to allow all UK small businesses to pre-sell their meals, events, hotel bookings etc. for cash now on a promise to redeem these at a later date.

We opened in 2007 and have ridden rough times, great times and now, unprecedented times.

Over those precious years, we've been part of an amazing community and served millions of drinks to wonderful people. There has already been a very strong response to the needs of many of the vulnerable and less fortunate people in society.

It is clear that we must all do our bit to give the NHS every chance of saving many, many lives. The effect on society will be profound and the impact on our daily lives is already like nothing any of us has witnessed.

In these circumstances, this Crowdfunder seems churlish and arbitrary but as a business we must do something to help us survive the coming months of closure.

We, like many other businesses, are asking for your help in the form of bar tabs that can be redeemed on the other side of this; hopefully, sooner rather than later.

We do not take this lightly and feel somewhat awkward even asking, so we would like to ensure that something good comes from this fund and pass on the generosity of our backers to those that deserve it most.

Therefore, we would like you to be able to buy a drink for the heroes of the NHS that are working so hard to save lives.

Our £5 pledge will purchase a token on a Heroes Wall, for any NHS worker to redeem at the bar as soon as we can open again. We will match each token purchased giving each person up to £10 towards the cost of their drink.

The other options are for your own enjoyment and as soon as we can get pouring, making, stirring, and shaking again, we will!
