Hey everyone my name is Jessica, I’m 21 and a first time mum to Novah and a student at Nottingham Trent University.

NovahJoy was born from the most life-changing moment of all — the day I became a mother.

On February 3rd, 2025, I gave birth to my son, and with him came a wave of luck, laughter, and pure joy. From the very start, he was calm, peaceful, and full of light — the kind of baby who brings healing just by being. He made me better. Stronger. More grounded. And more inspired than I’d ever been.

This brand is my love letter to him.

It’s a symbol of the pride I feel to be his mother and the promise I’ve made to give him the life he deserves — one filled with comfort, stability, and joy. I created NovahJoy not only to celebrate the beauty of childhood, but also as a way to ensure he never has to go through what I did. It’s a foundation. A placeholder for his future. A reminder that he will always have something solid beneath his feet.

Every piece of clothing from NovahJoy carries this love — stitched with intention, softness, and care. Because children deserve to be wrapped in joy, just like he wrapped my world in it.

Your support of £5k will help turn NovahJoy from a dream into a reality. The funds raised will go towards sourcing soft, sustainable fabrics, producing our very first line of gentle baby clothing, and covering ethical manufacturing costs. It will also help us invest in beautiful, eco-friendly packaging and thoughtful branding to share our story with like-minded parents. Every contribution brings us one step closer to launching a brand built on love, care, and a commitment to a better future for our children — and the planet they’ll grow up in.

Ultimately what your donations will help me achieve;

To make NovahJoy a reality, the £5,000 raised will be used thoughtfully across several key areas. A portion will go toward sourcing high-quality, sustainable fabrics and materials (£1,200), and covering the costs of manufacturing and equipment (£1,000). Packaging and postage for customer orders and rewards will take up £400, while another £700 will go toward creating and fulfilling the custom digital and handmade rewards. I’ll also invest £500 in branding and design to give NovahJoy a strong, professional identity, and £300 to build and launch a small e-commerce website. Marketing and promotion will be supported with £400 to help spread the word through social media and community outreach. Lastly, I’m setting aside £500 as a contingency fund to manage any unexpected costs or delays. Every penny will be used with care to bring this meaningful project to life.

This isn’t just about clothing — it’s about creating a movement of conscious care for our children and our planet.
