Aim

Our aim is to ensure that Sissinghurst Cricket Club continues to foster an atmosphere of friendship, inclusion, development and growth

Who are we?

We are Sissinghurst Cricket Club and we will be 123 years old this year.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We have over 180 Junior Members and 53 Senior Men and Ladies playing cricket. We are a thriving club which remains close to the village community attracting players from a large selection of local village Primary and Prep Schools.

We foster an atmosphere of friendship and inclusion believing cricket is a game for all. As such we are commiited to ensuring that our facilities are aligned with this mantra.

How we’ll spend the money raised

All funds raised will be invested into the continued development of the Club through the provision of a disabled toilet, a  95 meter disability pathway from the car park to the Paviliion and the construction of a new storage facility. Project Inclusion and Growth has a total funding requirement of £94,500

Community impact

Our village community and our sporting community are at the heart of the club, where everyone – regardless of ability is welcome. We are exrtemely proud of the exceptional growth and development within our Junior Section and for the huge voluntary support we rely on to maintain the Club as a whole. We also realise that this can't be taken for granted and as such remain committed to maintianing and enhancing the facilities our community enjoys.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!

Funding method

Keep what you raise – this project will receive all pledges made by 7th September 2026 at 12:05pm
