We were set for a great year here at moor view alpacas, we had lots of exciting events, and our trekking business was going from strength to strength, however then covid hit and we have been left without any funding or grants from the government or our local council.
As a business with large overheads and animal's to feed we have struggled over the past few months to cover our costs and keep the staff employed
This is where we need some help. Our animals need some shelters, we have 3 that are falling apart and we desperately need shelters for the animals so we can get through the winter. We have found some that will fit into the landscape and will be more hardy than our original shelters that we installed 10 years ago. We will also plant some trees around them to help with our carbon neutral aims for our business. We try to be as environmentally friendly as we possibly can be, by planting more trees on our site it helps the environment and also gives our animals more protection.
