Each piece of artwork tells a story, meticulously crafted with precision and care using the ancient technique of Turkish marbling. The Turkish tradition of marbling dates back to the 16th century, using only natural materials from nature.
Jamie Baldrick is an artist and illustrator based in Leamington Spa. Originally from Derry in Ireland, Jamie was inspired by the parallels between the Irish and Palestinian struggles. This piece features imagery of the Palestinian olive tree and the keffiyeh, all stored within a stamp border to symbolise global solidarity.
The funds raised in this prize draw will go to the grassroots mutual aid collective fundraising initiatives run by Giving4Gaza with 100% of the proceeds going straight to supporting our brothers, sisters and the children of Gaza with essentials such as water, food and baby supplies.
