🌈 Help Make Pride-on-Sea 2026 🌈
On Saturday 12th September 2026, Pride-on-Sea will return to Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge, bringing our community together to celebrate love, equality, diversity and inclusion.
Pride-on-Sea has always been about more than a single day. It's about creating a safe, welcoming space where everyone can be themselves, celebrate who they are and know they belong.
However, organising Pride has never been more challenging.
Like many community events, we've seen funding opportunities reduce dramatically, while the cost of running a safe and accessible event has continued to rise. Security, first aid, staging, insurance, accessibility, equipment and entertainment have all become significantly more expensive. As a volunteer-led organisation, every penny we raise goes directly back into making Pride happen.
At the same time, the need for Pride has never been greater. Recent tragic events affecting Pride celebrations, including those connected with Berlin Pride, are a reminder that safe, inclusive spaces cannot be taken for granted. Pride is a celebration of who we are, but it is also a powerful statement that everyone deserves to feel safe, accepted and supported.
This year we're aiming to raise £2,000 to help cover the essential costs of delivering Pride-on-Sea 2026, including:

❤️ Qualified first aid cover throughout the event.
🎤 Event infrastructure, staging and equipment.
🎉 March,Entertainment and creating an unforgettable day for all.
Every donation, whether it's £5 or £500, will make a real difference, not just for this year, but to ensure the future of the event. All money raised goes directly into hosting Pride-on-Sea.
