Hello there!
INTRO:
I am Katy and It's my pleasure to share my love of animals with everyone I meet, especially your pets! When you’re away from home, you can trust me to take care of your friends with all the attention and love they deserve. Be assured that I will treat your pet as I would treat my own, with all of the playfulness they need.
I started my business back in 2017 after having to stop work due to numerous lifetime health conditions and then finally being classed as disabled. After a long break and a new sense of determination and soul searching, I decided to set Parkside Pet Services Stafford up, become my own boss and do something that I truly love.
In my home, I offer small animal boarding for your furry’s and non - furry’s as well! I do ask that where possible please can you provide your own cage/cages/small tank/tanks as I only have the one available at this point in time. Sadly, I am unable to look after dogs and cats in my home, however, I do offer services where I come to you.
I also look after exotic pets as well!!
I am fully certified, DBS checked and also fully insured as well.
MY IDEA:
Although I have been in business since 2017, progress has been very slow and the work has been sparse. I would love to be able to better my business and make it grow, so that not only I can expand my client base, but also to have more freedom as well.
WHAT WILL I DO WITH THE MONEY THAT HAS BEEN RAISED?
1. Have a fully functioning professional looking website and logo - At the moment, I don't have one and it would come in use.
2. Buy business cards - This would also help expand my business by networking.
3. Advertising/Facebook adverts - To promote my business so that I can get more clients.
4. Easy to dismantle and put away cages - So that I can have more small animals to stay in my home so that the clients don't have to bring their own if they don't want to. Plus, it would mean that they would be easy to store as well.
5. Learn to drive and get a car - Currently, I have to rely on public transport and it is getting more and more unreliable and also buses are being axed frequently, which means that I can't get to my destination. This would also expand my client base further than the bus route.
6. Join NARPSUK - This would also expand and also grow my business as well.
All of this, as well as anything else that may come up, would definitely help.
