Help Artburst raise £5K for new iMacs and a heavy-duty art printer to power creative arts projects for children across London!
This year Artburst CIC celebrates 20 years of empowering children through the arts!
Amy - our Co-Founder and Creative Director and best known for playing Bubbles the Clown in our Crowdfunder video - can't believe where the time has gone, but is so proud that Artburst is still going strong with more creativity, resilience, and determination to continue the work we do.
Not bad for a conversation between friends and an idea written on a café order slip in 2006!
Now, in 2026, with a core team of five (Lee, Rosie, Becky, Zoe and Amy) and only 2 computers and a printer which should be in a museum, we need new tech!
But funding criteria shifting and budgets tightening, we need your help to keep Artburst and the team moving forward digitally and creatively.
We hope to raise a total of £5000 for:
Two new iMacs will create a comfortable workspace for the team with minimal desk hopping whilst providing the most up-to-date software for our work to develop, including designing and creating original illustrations and resources. The printer will allow us to print our accessible resources in-house, lowering our outsourced printing costs long-term.
We know that times are difficult for most, but any donation you can make will aid in supporting the vital work we do supporting children in London who need it most.
We are an award-winning, not-for-profit London-based organisation delivering creative workshops in schools, community centres, family hubs, museums, and large scale festivals and events.
Committed to ensuring the arts are accessible to all, our purpose is simple:
To engage children in creative education and the arts, helping to improve their quality of life and develop skills which support their educational and life journeys by:
"These workshops are a must. They bring local children together and allow parents to meet each other too. The sessions were very interactive and the children loved it. It allowed them to learn sharing and playing as well as independence".
Parent feedback from our Festival of Fun, February 2026.

Over 40% of our work is funded through a variety of organisations including Peabody, National Lottery, local councils including Hackney and Tower Hamlets, and core-funding from BBC Children in Need.
In 2025/26 we delivered 589 creative workshops.
Reaching 3906 children and 2560 parents and carers.
We strive to make our workshops and resources inclusive and as accessible as possible for children with SEND.
Our work is rooted in the communities facing the highest level of systemic inequality.
"I'm proud of me showing my true colours because sometimes in big crowds I don't do these types of things."
