We need your help to bring Cornwall’s biggest Youth Climate Festival to life, empowering young people to take climate action!

ANOTHER WAY: FROM YOUNG CHANGEMAKER, FOR YOUNG CHANGEMAKERS

Another Way is a youth-led environmental education charity dedicated to inspiring and empowering individuals to live compassionately towards our planet. It was established in 2019 by Amy Bray, a passionate environmental advocate who began her journey at just 16 and it has since grown into a nationwide movement. We believe that small, individual actions can lead to great changes when multiplied.

POWER OF 10 FESTIVALS: THE PLACE TO BE

The Power of 10 Festivals are part of our flagship project, the Power of 10 movement, which is building the UK’s largest and most diverse network of young climate leaders. These festivals are pinnacle events in the Another Way calendar, celebrating and amplifying young voices on climate change. The fight against the climate crisis can often feel overwhelming and isolating for young people. That’s why bringing them together to form a community is so important. Through a day of learning, inspiration, connection, and empowerment, we aim to catalyse long-term change

We ensure continued engagement through our Power of 10 App, which allows young people to connect, find peer and expert support, access our Changemaker Helpline, explore over 50 educational resources, and sustain their involvement beyond the Festival.

POWER OF 10 FESTIVAL IN CORNWALL

Our next festival, hosted by the University of Exeter, is an opportunity to kickstart a wave of youth-led climate and nature action across the county, giving young people the tools, support, skills and confidence to make a real difference. The festival is designed to educate, inspire, and connect young changemakers in the region and will feature:

  • Engaging talks from climate experts and activists
  • Interactive workshops on sustainability and nature conservation
  • A marketplace linking young people to green career and volunteering opportunities
  • Fun activities such as climate challenges

Who is it for?

  • More than 250 young people from at least 10 schools across Cornwall
  • Teachers, charities, and local climate groups

Where & When?

  • Penryn Campus, University of Exeter, Cornwall
  • Earth Day – April 22, 2025

Entry is free, but we need your support to make it happen. Your donation will fund travel bursaries, resources, and workshops to ensure young people can access the event.

WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS?

Every contribution, no matter the size, directly empowers the next generation of climate leaders. Young people want to take action but often lack the resources, support, and confidence. This festival is their launchpad. By donating, you are not just funding an event—you are investing in a generation of changemakers.

Since the last Festival in February 2024 in Cumbria:

  • Five new school eco-groups have been launched
  • More than 5,000 people have attended Power of 10 climate talks
  • Thousands have participated in activities like tree planting, plastic-free campaigns, and litter picks
  • More than 3,000 young people have increased their knowledge of sustainability issues
  • Young people’s lives have been transformed in so many positive ways

"Power of 10 has changed my life. It has helped me excel in public speaking and gain so much knowledge about our environment. I don’t feel alone anymore, knowing there are thousands of other young people who care." – Erin, 16

“The benefits of some of our students being involved (we had students right across the comprehensive ability range in attendance) are a significant benefit to them socially, emotionally and culturally.” – headteacher at Trinity School

Each contribution drives a greater impact, helping us achieve lasting change. Remember?  Small, individual actions can lead to great changes when multiplied. This is your chance to help build a more sustainable future.
