Aim
Raising £350 for Children with Cancer UK through a student-led campaign supporting childhood cancer research and better treatment
We are Team Power for Purpose, a student group from the University of Westminster working together to raise funds for Children with Cancer UK through a student-led fundraising campaign. As a team, we wanted to support a cause that has a meaningful and lasting impact, and Children with Cancer UK stood out because of the important work they do in funding research, improving treatment, and supporting children and families affected by cancer.
Our goal is to raise £350, combining online fundraising with promotional activity and an on-campus fundraising initiative. We have been working closely to build a campaign that is clear, credible, and engaging, including developing our fundraising page, creating social media promotion, and using official charity materials provided by Children with Cancer UK to strengthen awareness and trust.
The money raised through this campaign will go directly to Children with Cancer UK to support their work in funding life-saving research and developing better, kinder treatments for children and young people affected by cancer. Every donation, no matter the amount, contributes towards helping improve outcomes for children facing serious illness and supports the charity’s long-term mission.
