Pottery for medical bills

Aim

I'm offering a pottery prize and hoping to raise money for medical bills - for both me and my cat. Your entry really helps - thank you!

The Prize

I've picked some special pottery pieces to create two sets for the winner to choose from. Some people like my slogan stuff, some prefer plain pieces. You can swap similar pieces between the sets too, if you like.

If you'd like further pictures and information, all these pieces can be viewed on my website. The slogan set includes 'refugees welcome', 'snowflake', 'no pasarán', 'not all those who wander are lost', a 'gammon tears' decanter and an 'opium' storage jar. The plain set includes a bowl, jug, 'aurora' mug, oil and dressings pourer, and a small and large vase.

Each set would cost over £200. If you win, that might be this year's Christmas presents sorted!

The Cause

I've had a year of hard things happening, and been unable to work as much as usual. The most recent things that have drained my finances have been a bad car accident, a sick pet and a failed medical procedure. 

Due to that procedure failing, I now have to wait a year to see a consultant, or pay to go privately. It is something that affects me daily and makes working hard.

My beloved cat Pippin died a few months ago. Now my cat Teazel is seriously ill. All my pets are insured, but there is a lot that the insurance does not cover.

I took advice from my lovely friends and although I still feel weird about it, I'm going to try to raise the money - both for my medical procedure and for Teazel's vet bills.

How to Enter

I'm not making it complicated. If you can help me, please donate, and I'll put your name in the draw.

I'll use a computer-generated draw system (those exist, right?!) and film myself getting the winner's name on September 1st.

Then you can choose which set of pottery you'd like.
