Aim
There are thousands of vulnerable people still self-isolating. We have created a home pottery painting box to bring them joy and creativity.
Les Cadeaux is a pottery painting shop based in one of the most socially deprived areas in the country. At the onset of the coronavirus crisis, our doors had to close, and as a small family business we had to think creatively of a way for our community interest company to survive well also meeting the needs of our customers. We came up with the idea that if customers could not come to us that we would go to them – and home pottery painting boxes were born.
Throughout the 12 main weeks of lockdown we have delivered over 300 boxes to families all around Barnsley, but we would like to be able to continue providing this creative and therapeutic activity to those who are continuing to isolate. By donating to our boxes you are bringing a ray of creative sunshine into an isolated home, and giving them a gift that will last forever.
