Who are we?
We are a local football club based in Leicester Forest East that has over 150, predominately girls, but boys also, playing football. Week in, week out.

Why are we crowdfunding?
Due to the size and scale of the club and the fact that we have teams from mini kickers (U6's) all the way to U16 level, we require more equipment for more pitches and to support the teams appropriately as they move through the age groups.
The club ethos being 'let them play' we vow to always try to place players into teams specifically, but if we cannot we have several training groups and sessions that allows as many children as possible to enjoy the game we all love so much and to develop their football and fitness.
How we’ll spend the money raised
In this instance we need new goal posts for our U12 - U13 teams who require a transitional goal size before the hit the full size versions at U14's. Not many clubs choose to do this, but at Epworth we aim to give the girls the best.
Community impact
With over 150 children registered to the club, and predominately girls, Epworth Forest Juniors are giving back in a big way. We provide a safe and amazing experience for girls and boys of all abilities to play football in their area. The is no prerequisite to experience or ability, we aim to simply 'let hem play' As a club we go out of our way to ensure that every child has a chance to have fun and to develop at football and of course their fitness too. All coaches are qualified and DBS registered and we are a sister club to Leicester City Football club.
How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
Pledge no.1 is our 'Post to Post' Challenge. 2 of our coaches are preparing to tackle the Equinox 24 hour Ultra running challenge in September. A gruelling 24 hour race circling a 10km track amidst diverse terrain at the Belvoir Castle Estate. Their ambitious goal is to cover 200km / 125 miles collectively. An equivalent of nearly 5 marathons or further than Leicester to Bristol, and all within this 24 hour period.
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
5. We go again! Once this effort is complete we will set up another page/challenge to help keep the much needed funds coming!
This is not a one time effort, this is week in week out... the fun never stops!
