We're still collecting donations
On the 27th December 2022 we'd raised £240 with 6 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 27th December 2022 we'd raised £240 with 6 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Fairwater FC are a local community football club that has provided a safe space to play since 2015. As a club we run 17 teams from under 7 to senior level, both girls and boys side of the game - with over 250 registered players. The men's senior team have recently gained promotion into the South Wales Alliance league and we have also entered a women's team into the South Wales Woman's and Girls league.
Fairwater FC is a place where players, coaches, volunteers, supporters and the community come together to create the energy needed to shape future generations for the better.
Everything at our club starts with our home facilities at Poplar Park and the pavilion. On the field we have seen amazing progress being made with player development accelerating better than ever through the hard work and dedication from the coaching staff.
Taking care of our home pitch has been a challenge due to vandalism but despite this we have managed to work hard with the the local council and volunteers to help, but the pitch is in much need of maintenance now as it hosts games Saturday and Sundays as the clubs growth continues. We also look to improve the facilities by introducing a stand that has passed planning permission already, a path that spans the whole pitch and secure fencing of the perimeter. This will be an amazing stepping stone for our club as we are ready to make the next big step with changing our home forever.
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP...
We are going to be making much needed upgrades to the playing facilities on the pitch as the ground has been vandalised which makes the playing surface unsafe in places.
We also wish to purchase perimeter fencing that will span the whole pitch whilst having a pathway that also surrounds the outside of the barrier.
This is the stepping stone which means we are on our way to achieving 'Tier 3' criteria needed to support future promotions for the senior teams for both our women's and men's teams. as we have planning permission that has been granted for a new 100-seater stand for the home and away teams.
Eventually, the stand will be the first ever to appear next to our pitch located at Poplar Park which will be another huge milestone for the club bringing the community together furthermore.
The project will stand to inspire new players to join and current teams to push for major honours and promotions while building a special relationship with the supportive fans and community every game we play.
Finally, it will help positively shape and mould the next generation of people of Fairwater and wider communities. Together, we can achieve great things and share success along the way.
There are simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
