Hello world!
This young Palestinian pharmacist, Mohammad Shoaib Al-Farra, himself displaced in Rafah, has produced miracles amid the mayhem by connecting the sick and impoverished with essential medications, dressings, baby formula and sanitary items.
I first became aware of Mohammad on 6th March 2024. A Palestinian man had reached out to me after spending two full days scouring Rafah looking for medicines for his wife, who frequently lost consciousness. (A doctor had prescribed them, but had none to give.)
I am part of an informal network of trusted friends that extends both within and without Gaza. The network connects people in crisis with the items they need. I discovered that Mohammad was part of our network. Thanks to him, the lady in question received the items she needed and eventually made a full recovery.
FREE PRESCRIPTIONS FOR THOSE IN NEED
The husband in question was shocked to finally find the medications—and even more so when he realised the prescriptions were free. 'I was planning on not eating for two weeks so I could afford them,' he told me. This unexpected double miracle restored his hope and strength in an instant.
I soon learned this situation was not uncommon. So imagine my shock when I visited Mohammad's X profile at the end of March to let him know I had another referral for him:
Mohammad's six-week campaign had helped 159 souls in dire need, but the donations that had made it possible had dried up.
UPDATE (Oct 2024): In the beginning, the pharmacy’s reach was more limited: it cost just $85 per day (£67/€79) to keep Mohammad's little miracle machine running. On April 1st I managed to supply him with $850—enough to provide him with medications that would keep the initiative going for 10 more days. However, as word has spread about the pharmacy’s existence, items are now being dispensed at a rate of $450 per day. With your help, we can keep this vital resource going.
At the bottom of this page you will find numerous examples of the vital support he is providing for babies, children, mothers and the elderly. Babies have been dying of starvation. Just yesterday he managed to deliver formula to mothers whose milk has dried up due to malnourishment:
PLEASE HELP ME KEEP THIS POP-UP PHARMACY OPEN
I raise the money and get it into the hands of those who have medicines, baby formula and other items that people urgently need. I let Mohammad know he now has a credit with the suppliers in question and he places his order. This system allows Mohammad to dispense medicines within 4 hours of receiving a donation.
Mohammad and I are both part of a network of trusted friends operating both within Gaza and beyond. It's called @911GazaHelpline and we use Twitter/X and WhatsApp to communicate with one another. It has allowed us to save many, many lives, not only by connecting the sick with medicines, but the hungry with food and the freezing with warm clothing. (It was my friends in this network who introduced me to Mohammad in the first place.)

ABOUT ME
In case you're wondering who I am:
1. I'm an international executive coach by profession and humanitarian by nature.
2. This is my professional website: caitlinmiller.com.
3. This is my profile on LinkedIn.
4. The Musk mafia at X suspended my account in August 2024 (@CaitlinScotland—no reason given: it must have been mass reported by Zionists). They refuse to reinstate it. As a result, I have lost contact with my 6,000 followers, which was a big blow. If you could please follow pharmacist Mohammad on X (@mohshoaibfarra) and share his posts, it would make a significant difference. The link to this fundraiser is: crowdfunder.co.uk/p/pop-up-pharmacy.
5. My identity has been verified by GoFundMe and this fundraiser has been running now for more than six months. My role in this initiative is simply to provide a conduit for donations, ensuring payment reaches the necessary parties so they can release any available medications to Mohammad and his team. You can watch your money morph into medicine, baby formula and dressings for the wounded by following him on X and watching his timeline. For example, this post popped up after we donated the money a week ago:
100% OF DONATIONS (AFTER FEES) IS CONVERTED INTO MEDICINES
Mohammad works free-of-charge every day. The only deduction from your donation is the one made by Crowdfunder to cover the cost of processing your gift and the fees involved in sending the donations. (Crowdfunder charges a maximum of 3% + 20p per transaction.)
HELP ME RAISE $450 PER DAY TO KEEP UP WITH DEMAND AND KEEP THE POP-UP PHARMACY FUNCTIONING.
Palestinians have been stripped of everything. These medications and supplies are saving lives; feeding starving babies; providing essentials supplies for mothers who have just given birth; and offering diapers to the elderly. (There are hardly any bathrooms in Gaza and people have to stand in line for hours to use them—something the elderly are unable to do.)
Every $1, £1 or €1 you contribute makes a difference. Thank you for giving whatever you're able to contribute—and thank you for sharing this fundraiser with your friends. (A personal DM from you may be all it takes to keep this pop-up pharmacy functioning for another day.)
SOME EXAMPLES OF THE MANY ITEMS DISPENSED INCLUDE:
Tens of thousands of babies have been born over the past 6 months to parents who have nothing but the clothes on their back. If they're lucky, families are huddled in over-crowded damp, freezing tents with no pacifiers for the babies.
Items are distributed as requests come in from Rafah, Khan Yunis and Deir al-Balah:
The genocide has been in full swing for one year now, and patients with chronic conditions—including cancer—have been unable to obtain essential medicines. Despite this, Mohammad has been able to provide some relief to a small number of patients. For example:
I began to support the pop-up pharmacy to counter the overwhelm I felt witnessing the genocide in Gaza. Together, we have the ability to save a few hundred souls who would otherwise perish for lack of access to basic items.
PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A 'REGULAR' DONATION
There are two ways to donate: in addition to making a one-time donation, the option also exists to donate repeatedly on a monthly basis. We currently have 10 regular donors whose monthly donations range between £5 and £500 per month. Regular donations are vital: they allow pharmacist Mohammad to commit to treating chronic conditions that need ongoing support. If you are able to choose this option, it is greatly appreciated. (You can cancel any time.)
Every life is precious and a tub of baby formula—if it can be found—currently costs $18. Even a 1 £/$/Euro offering makes a difference. Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Caitlin
