We're building a strong Green campaign in Portsmouth to elect dedicated Councillors. Portsmouth City Council isn't working as well as it could for residents, but Greens are working hard for change. We'll be an independent voice for the city, offering real hope and change by actively driving forward positive local solutions. Electing a Green Councillor will amplify the vital work already being done by local Green activists on campaigns like #LetPompeyBreathe or our campaign on Harmful Advertising, pushing for the solutions our city desperately needs.
We are the only party consistently challenging the status quo, demanding policies that put people and the planet first. A Green Councillor will be a strong advocate within the council for tangible local improvements:
- Making our streets green and accessible
- Supporting home insulation projects
- Fighting for better planning policies that prioritize green spaces and community needs
- Championing initiatives for sustainable transport and active travel
