About the project

One Candle is a community group with a constitution. We are historically costumed Ambassadors. We need a new costume for David and this will be of an elder in the year 1622. David would have sailed on the Mayflower and is now aiming at higher office.

We provide Pilgrim and historical look a likes around Plymouth's historic waterfront. Visitors are always welcome to interact with us and learn more about the Mayflower and Pilgrims back in 1620.

With the Mayflower 400 in 2020 celebrations on the way we intend to meet, greet and help tourists to Plymouth and enhance their perception of our great city.

Two of our Pilgrims are schoolgirls and American and British nationals Olivia is aged 6 with Isabella aged 10 - Isabella is learning to speak Mandarin and attends drama classes here in Plymouth. They are adorable.

Elizabeth Saunders another female Pilgrim is from Detroit, Michigan and is now a fiercely proud British Citizen.

David is the main Pilgrim and Founder of One Candle
