Why should I support Margate Independent Foodbank?
Well, we provide support to the people of Margate and surrounding areas by way of food parcels. We also provide a delivery service for people with mobility issues. We are open two days per week at present; Tuesday and Thursday from 10.15am to 12.45pm. Delivery day is Thursday.
Why was Margate Independent Foodbank set up? Because Margate is one of the most deprived areas of Kent. Unemployment is high, and families are struggling. We are independent, and rely on donations to carry out our work. Please support us if you can.
