To improve our outdoor play area for our children's wellbeing
At Oasis Watermead, we would love to replace our old and tired wooden outdoor play equipment. Below are some images of the playground as it is now and what we would like to hopefully achieve.

Our aim is encourage children to be as active as possible promoting physical health and supporting social interaction and imaginative play. Any money raised will go directly to purchasing the play structure.
Exercise is proven to benefit mental health and what better way to do this than by playing an exciting game on great playground equipment?
Oasis Watermead has a wide range of pupils on the school role, including many different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, children with special education needs and children eligible for pupil premium.

The 'Captain Mannering' play structure (above) will provide a stimulating environment for the children to be physically active, developing their gross motor skills, co-ordination and balance, whilst also engaging creatively in role play. For many of them, the only chance they have for physical recreation is in the school grounds or participating in school activities. This will be a great boost to our outdoor learning environment and will create a challenging play environment and inspire endless possibilities for imaginative play. We hope to have this awesome play structure installed over the summer of 2021 (although this is not definite).

We need your help as we embark on this huge fundraising task and to see our school playground transformed.
We appreciate any financial support you can offer, thank you in advance.
