Play Alloa: Supporting People with Disabilities

Aim: To provide a warm space for children, young people and adults with disabilities to play and socialise in a safe and comfortable environment.
Who are we?
Play Alloa has been around since 1992, providing play activities for children with disabilities. Since 2012 Play Alloa has also provided regular activities for young people and adults with disabilities. Play Alloa is a charity and relies on funding to provide its services.
Community impact
Play Alloa exists in order to encourage its participants to grow and develop their friendships and self-esteem. This helps our participants to feel more confident in accessing the community.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We have to keep our heating to a level that is comfortable and safe for our participants, and are really struggling with the increase in heating bills this winter. Any help you can give would be appreciated.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Any money raised will be used to support our heating and maintenance costs.
