Pitch-reel for a short film drama

Aim
To produce a short pitch reel that visually communicates the tone and story of a short film original.
My name is Monica DaSilva, I’m 23 and based in Manchester. For years, my dream has been to work in TV and film. After college, I focused on developing my writing and have now completed a finished script that I’m proud of.
This project will bring that script to life as a short pitch reel, a visual proof of concept that captures the story, characters, and tone. The reel will help me showcase my work to producers and commissioners, and could be the stepping stone I need to take my first steps as a professional screenwriter.
I’m working with a small, trusted creative team to make the reel as high-quality and professional as possible. The funds raised will go directly toward production costs, including location hire, equipment, costumes, props, and post-production.
This is a focused, achievable step toward my career, and I’m excited to share it with backers who want to help bring this story to life.
