Aim

Raising funds to replace our pavilion toilets and buy a FrogBox to livestream matches, improve facilities, and boost our cricket community.

Who are we?

We are a friendly village cricket club in Buckinghamshire.  We have 3 senior cricket teams, a women's 1st XI and softball team.  Colts teams for boys and girls.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We have a club house that we need to modernise and have been grateful for the funding we've had so far from Bucks cricket board, but it's not enough.  The toilets need upgrading as do the showers and water system.  We have money for around half of the costs.  We know parents, family members and friends can't always make cricket matches in person so wouldn't it be great if we could live stream a game!  Please help us in anyway you can.

How we’ll spend the money raised

Our cricket club is at the heart of the community — a place where juniors grow, seniors compete, families gather, and friendships form. But there’s one part of the club that desperately needs attention: the toilets.

They’re outdated, unreliable, and no longer fit for the number of players, parents, and visitors who use the club every week. To keep our facilities welcoming and to support the growth of cricket in our area, we’re launching a project to fully upgrade and modernise them.

The cost is £20,000.  We have funding from Bucks Cricket of £8,000 and the club will pay in £2,000.  We need to raise £10,000.  We can't start the upgrades until the £20,000 is reached.

Community impact

Upgrading the club’s toilets will have a clear and meaningful impact on everyone who uses the facilities. Modern, clean, reliable amenities mean:

  • More participation — especially from women, girls, juniors, and families who rely on safe, comfortable facilities.
  • Better community use — improved toilets make the clubhouse a more appealing venue for events, meetings, and local groups.
  • Stronger social connection — a welcoming environment encourages people to gather, volunteer, and stay active.
  • Future‑proofing — ensuring the club can support growing membership and increased footfall.

In short, better toilets help create a more welcoming, vibrant, and well‑used community hub.
