Myself
The Culture House has over thirteen years of experience in producing high quality arts and music events locally. We are devoted to supporting local talent through our platform called Made in Grimsby.

Idea
For many years we have been hosting a series of free summer events in People's Park, Grimsby with a programme of live music and other activity. We have gathered a loyal following of people who regularly attend and enjoy relaxation with family and friends in the wonderful green space, experiencing a range of different genres of music from world music, indie and jazz live from the underused Victorian bandstand.

Vision
We would like to develop the Picnic in the Park Summer Programme 2023 to support more creative talent locally, blending our line ups with local and touring talent and creating more opportunities for paid performance and playing alongside artists from outside of the area.
How will we use the money?
We will reach out to our dedicated following through our mailing list of over 5000+ and social media channels to help to support the fundraising.
We will use the money raised to commission and support local musicians, bands and DJ's to perform as featured 'Made in Grimsby' artists - we will work to help showcase them during the event and across our platforms to wider audiences.
The funding will go towards hosting 4 events, helping to pay for the artists and associated technical, production and staffing, plus potentially more toilets!
