Not all heroes wear capes but all of them could probably do with a cup of coffee! That’s why we’ve launched “Pick me up, hero”; a chance for you to gift a pending coffee to an NHS hero so that they can redeem it at their leisure once we’re back in business! The idea of a pending coffee was born in Naples where someone who had experienced good luck would pay in advance for a coffee for someone less fortunate. We think we’re extremely lucky to have our amazing NHS teams keeping us safe on a daily basis, so why not show them your gratitude with a steaming cup of coffee and a warm “thank you” message?
How Does It Work?
It’s easy peasy, just like drinking a cup of coffee. Every £3.00 donated will be converted into a drink (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, our menu is that big) that any NHS employee can then claim whenever they want once we’ve safely re-opened. After a long shift or on a rare day off what could be nicer than getting a thank you cuppa to brighten your day? All the NHS employees need to do is come in, order and show us their badge. We told you it was easy!
As long as the funds are there our amazing NHS employees will continue to be caffeinated, no matter how long it takes for them to retreive it.
As an extra thank you, why not also leave a message of support when donating? We will post it on our Instagram stories and print it to pass on to an NHS employee along with their coffee!
How Does This Help Us?
With just £3.00, NHS employees can choose any drink they’d like from our menu, regardless of the price; so this doesn’t bring us any extra profit. However, having your support now can help us towards a successful re-opening, so we can come back as ready as ever to brew all the cups of coffee you’ve gifted!
