PhD International Development at UEA

Aim

I am raising money to support my tuition and upkeep for my PhD Studies at the University of East Anglia.

Last year I was offered an admission to the University of East Anglia to pursue a PhD in International Development. My research addresses the development challenge of driving the youth in Malawi and across the globe into poverty because of displacement by development projects. This displacement leads to the youth being jobless, homeless, food insecure, marginalised, and are at risk of increased morbidity and mortality, denied access to vital necessities as food, shelter, and medicine and losing social capital. Through my research I will be able to  advise the government and development partners(donors) on the importance of addressing the challenges faced by the youth because of displacement through development projects. This shall inherently reduce the number of youth who are getting or remaining in poverty due to displacement by development projects. My challenge presently is that I do not have resources to finance both my tuition and upkeep for my studies for me to do the study as part of my PhD. I am therefore requesting for support from everyone who can spare money to support my studies.
