Petey & I is an LSBU third year graduation film like no other. I have an incredibly passionate team raring to go on this project, but we need your help to make it happen! Petey & I is inspired by classic films such as: Gremlins, Finding Nemo and ET. So if you love those films you’ll definitely want to support us so we can make this film really come to life.
Meet the Characters:
Petey:
Petey is a devilish but endearing alien. Inspired by the likes of Gizmo and Stitch. He can cause havoc like all children, but there is something about him that reminds Albert of the softer side of his lost son. Logistically we want to materialise Petey as a real life puppet for actors to interact with, and audiences to fall in love with. Below you can see my design for Petey and a presentation model to give you an idea of what Petey might look like when fully realised.

Albert:
Albert is a grieving father seeking spiritual reconciliation. He's an everyday bloke, who believes his son has been reincarnated as an alien called Petey.

Sister Magdalene:
Sister Magdalene is not your stereotypical nun. In fact, she is the very opposite. She's snarky and puts Albert off balance to help him come to terms with the loss of his son.

Father Angelo:
He's a domineering presence and a vicar who values an extravagant lifestyle despite preaching humility. He doesn't value Petey and believes him to be vermin.
