Petal and Pop are looking to raise £1000 to become the UK's first floral popsicle company for events and celebrations.
About Petal and Pop
Petal and Pop are on a mission to become the UK's floral popsicle company. The idea was from a love of fresh flowers, summertime and creativity in the kitchen. We want to inject a pop of colour and excitement in the events market while capturing the childhood nostalgia of the ice cream van.
What makes us different
The UK ice lolly market is rife but we felt there was a real gap in the market; a gap which artisanal ice lollies made with edible flowers could fill.
We want Petal and Pop's products to be enjoyed by all and we're passionate about looking after people and the planet. Our products will aspire to be:
- Animal-free - ensuring that our products are suitable for those with dietary requirements
- Organic - using the best quality natural ingredients
- Locally sourced - supporting local communities and minimising our carbon footprint
- Sustainable - using recyclable materials in our packaging and minimising waste in production
Why are we crowdfunding
We are hoping to raise funds to help us get our side hustle off the ground. If successful, any pledges made will be put towards sourcing key utensils and equipment to help make our popsicles. In order to serve our target market of events and corporate clients, we will also need cool storage and transportation devices and an event bike to dispense popsicles from.

We want to bring you along on our Petal and Pop journey and so we are offering a number of different ways we can share our experiences in exchange for your support.
A £20 pledge allows you to Become part of our Bloom Brigade.
You'll join our co-creation platform where you will be invited to give your feedback on our raw ideas, new flavour creations and product prototypes. This will be opportunities to provide feedback and help shape our product development including some taste testing held in the London area.
A £50 pledge comes with an initiation to our 2-hour Edible flower masterclass with lunch.
You'll be greeted with refreshments before learning how to select and cook flowers that can be used in a range of delicious recipes. The session will also include a 2-course edible flower lunch inspired by the flowers in season.
A £45 pledge comes with an initiation to a Flavour experimentation session.
Think Willy Wonka meets flower power. A fun and hands-on session where you will be helping us knock up some new flavour combinations. The process will involve choosing from a range of flavours, mould shapes and decorations. There will be plenty of tasting involved too! Refreshments will be provided including samples of your creation.
A £100 pledge comes with a 2-hour event hire.
Be one of the first to experience our unique offering at an event of your choice. We can provide up to 60 Petal and Pop ice lollies and a maximum of 3 different flavours. The ice lollies will be served from our specialist cart by a passionate and engaging member of our team. Available from the Spring/Summer of 2020.
