Personal trainers - often self-employed, like over 12% of the North East workforce, have been hit incredibly hard by the Coronavirus crisis (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-52503260), due to an end to their in-person working routines. Many have tried to digitise their offering, with varying levels of professionalism, and varying levels of success, primarily due to the difficult nature of making a physical workout, virtual.
Nebula Labs has extensive health, fitness and wellbeing tech sector experience, and has worked extensively with local personal trainer experts to understand the impact, and devise a pioneering digital solution allowing personal trainers to digitise their workouts using mobile apps and immersive technologies including AR & VR.
The app is a streamlined solution to help personal trainers, initially in the North East region, find roles region wide using a one click search method. We require help to market this to personal trainers and their prospective clients regionally and nationally nationally via our team and a national marketing effort of contacting relevant personal trainers – firstly in the North East region, then the wider country. Once personal trainers use the app we believe it will save them time and money and help them to find clients easier.
Any money raised will be used to market the app and to secure three jobs within our business for local North East people.
