This project aims to construct a new nets facility, providing all ability training opportunities for our local community
🏏 Help Perranporth CC Build New Nets and Get More People Playing!
At Perranporth Cricket Club, we’re on a mission: to get more people involved in our sport. But to do that, we need your help.
We’re raising funds to replace our worn-out practice nets with state-of-the-art training facilities that match the ambition and growth of our community. These new nets will:
- Support safe, high-quality training for all ages and skill levels
- Expand our capacity for youth and women's cricket
- Create space for fitness and wellbeing sessions open to the whole community
- Enable partnerships with local schools and community groups
- Help more people get active, stay healthy, and feel included
⚡ Any extra funds will be used to purchase playing and training equipment for our growing Ladies section—because cricket should be for everyone.
Why It Matters: Cricket Is for Everyone
Cricket at Perranporth CC is more than just a sport. It’s how we help people play, connect, and belong. Our goal is to make cricket a catalyst for activity and inclusion, bringing together diverse people from all corners of our community.
- Our ladies’ section is thriving, with weekly new members
- We’ve added a brand-new Under-19 girls’ team
- Youth training hits 60+ attendees each Friday night
- Our Under-13 and Under-15 girls are smashing boundaries—literally and figuratively
- We made history in 2024 with the first Cornish league game featuring more women than men
All of this is possible because we believe in one simple idea: everyone deserves a chance to play.
Who We Are: A Club That Moves With Its Community
Perranporth Cricket Club is a vibrant hub of activity, growth, and inclusion. We’ve worked hard to expand our reach and upgrade our facilities:
- A new ladies’ changing room
- A borehole water supply for sustainability
- Continuous clubhouse improvements
- Regular hosting of Cornwall over-50s and 60s matches, youth fixtures, and regional training
We now field three senior teams, a booming youth section, and 10 junior teams—with cricket set to be played every day of the week this summer.
What’s Next: Growing Cricket, Growing Movement
Our 2025 vision is bold:
- Build inclusive pathways from youth to adult cricket
- Grow the women's game at all levels
- Offer movement and wellbeing activities to more local people
- Combat loneliness and inactivity through sport
But all of that hinges on the ability to train safely and inclusively—and that’s why your support matters right now.
