Aim
The aim of this Fundraiser is to bring Performing Arts to the wider community around us, once we have sourced a budget. Will YOU help US?
We are Yeovil College's Performing Arts department. A group of 27, 16-19-year-olds who aspire to create new and exciting work that plays with the idea of cross-specialisms, that we can deliver to, and involve, the wider community around us.
Creative Arts is something that is incredibly close to our hearts as we know, like many others, that sharing and experiencing emotive creativity, is what brings us together and connects us as a community.
But, WE NEED YOUR HELP!
As we draw towards the end of our time together, before the circle of life evolves and some of us leave, and fresh faces join, we are left with a challenge.
In order to go ahead with our Final Major Project this year, we have been challenged to raise our own budget.
Now this will be a challenge. Not only because, if we can't raise a budget, we won't be able to share and involve our wider community, create new experiences and connect with others. But also, for our 3rd years, who have been with YC for 3 years now. And, as their time here draws to a close, naturally, they want to showcase everything Yeovil College has now equipped them with.
So, here's our idea!
We are putting on a zero-cost show called 'Curtain Call'. This will consist of a variety of performances from not only each of us studying here at #YC, but also invited performers and industry professionals.
We have decided to NOT accept ticket sales for this performance, but instead to collect donations!
We're asking for your spare change and whatever else you may be able to spare! We figured, if all of our 27 students could get both their immediate family and extended family to donate £1/£2, we'll soon have enough to create professional work once again!
Now, what's in it for you?
Well, if the chance to share and experience our Final Major Project with us, as well as this no-cost show, Curtain Call, wasn't enough, THERE'S MORE!!
Within this funding link, there are also 3 different types of rewards up for grabs, depending on how much you donate!
Rewards include; FREE tickets to our final project, FREE automatic entry to our Curtain Call interval raffle, AND FREE refreshments also during Curtain Call.
