Peppard Stoke Row are raising funds for new cricket nets at their home ground.
Peppard Stoke Row Cricket Club is an inclusive and friendly community cricket club in the heart of Oxfordshire.
We have a thriving youth section from U9s to U19s catering for boys and girls as well as running up to 8 adult teams a week. Our adult teams are full of players who have developed from our youth teams creating a sense of community.

We have an amazing junior section at Peppard Stoke Row that includes over 200 children. Our adult teams are going from strength to strength as we develop our players from within to keep ensuring our teams are playing at the highest possible level.
However, we only have 2 nets for hundreds of players which are becoming very old and tired. This means we have to host club training away from the club and also means the nets become congested on other days where too many people are looking to practise in inadequate facilities (see picture above)
New nets allows more people the chance to play cricket more often. It also allows us to move our club training back to our home ground. Where we can utilise the facilities our members love.

We want brilliant net facilities so we can:
- Give the best opportunities we can to all our cricketers, particularly our juniors.
- Protect and preserve the game we love by ensuring that participation in cricket grows
- Allow cricketers a part of our club or not the chance to develop at their own pace, with more cricket facilities in their local area.

100% of all the money raised will be spent on upgrading our net facilities. Any donation you make will be ring-fenced for this project and will contribute directly to our ability to sustain our offer of cricket training for all as we grow in the future.
Our club is a community club first and foremost. We want to be able to have a really positive impact on young people, adults and over 55s in our region by not only offering a welcoming and fun environment but also great facilities to match.
Inspired by the Birmingham Games in 2022 our junior section continues to grow and thrive. This would grow further with the installation of new nets and create a more community feel. Currently, team practise sessions take place off sight and away from our immediate community not showcasing to everyone nearby exactly the impact we have for young people. The new nets allows far more flexibility and opportunity to our club to impact the community by allowing more Cricket to be played and therefore allow more physical exercise opportunities. It also means we can grow local talent that can feed into our club and further up the Cricket pyramid in the future. Lastly, with a mixture of different ages and genders being visible at our ground alongside fantastic facilities it will expose us to more Cricketers and allow our club to continue to grow.

There are three simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
