Aim
Raising funds for new floodlights at the club to cut venue costs, allow evening training, grow junior teams and expand our community club.
Who are we?
Penygroes FC is a community football club based in Carmarthenshire. We currently run two senior men’s teams and have strong ambitions to grow in the coming years, offering more opportunities for men, women and children of all ages and abilities to play football locally.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are looking to resurrect the old floodlights overlooking our pitch. Without working floodlights, we’re unable to host evening training sessions or matches, which limits participation and restricts our ability to expand. By repairing them, we can make better use of our facilities year-round and take a vital step towards growing the club.
How we’ll spend the money raised
All funds raised will go directly towards repairing the floodlights and improving our facilities, ensuring a safer, more accessible, and more welcoming environment for players, volunteers, and supporters.
Community impact
Improved facilities will allow us to run more teams, increase training opportunities, and provide a positive, healthy space for the local community. A stronger Penygroes FC means greater community pride, inclusion, and opportunities for young people and adults alike.
