Penny's Ark is a registered charity set up in 2023 with the aim of easing the suffering of animals. We specifically work in Romania and Bulgaria where we rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home dogs that are homeless, injured or have been abandoned.

Penny's Ark offers a lifeline to animals that have been abandoned, abused or forgotten. Every day, our team of compassionate volunteers work tirelessly to rehabilitate and re-home these wonderful dogs.
Our mission is simple, yet profound; to strive to create a world where every animal is cherished and respected, loved and safe.
In our first year (we started in April 2023) we have re-homed 36 dogs in the UK from the streets of Romania or the public shelters where they were doomed.
We house and help dogs in need in Romania and are now extending our reach into Bulgaria where we also help cats.
To continue our work and to help more dogs, and to continue to feed the street animals that have nobody else, we need your help. We cannot do anything on our own.
