Aim
We are raising funds for a wheelchair accessible picnic bench at Kent Road Playground
Pennies for a picnic bench
Earlier this year, Wollaston Farm Tenants and Residents Association (WFTARA), in collaboration with Cllr Andrew Tromans, harnessed the power of community spirit to raise an incredible £900 for new goal posts at Kent Road Playground.
During that fundraising campaign, local families told us they would also love to see another picnic bench
We have now obtained an invoice from a Dudley Council-approved supplier (Glasdon) for a new bench to match the existing one:

Every contribution, big or small, will make a real difference and help us create a more welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable space for local families.
In 2025, Kent Road Playground received significant investment in new play equipment — something WFTARA had campaigned for over many years. The new equipment has already proved hugely popular with families from across Wollaston Farm Estate and beyond.
Now, with your help, we can continue building on that progress and further improve this cherished community space.
