• Penistone CC was established in 1867. The club is run by a committee of volunteers and provides cricket facilities for players aged between 5 and 99! We encourage the enjoyment of cricket not only for the players, but for their families and the wider community also.
• We have 2 Senior teams, junior teams in all age groups and a ladies team.
• We cater for the All Stars and Dynamos ECB programmes.
• Our aim is to further develop our Clubhouse facilities in the near future by hopefully building a new clubhouse with increased capacity in order for us to provide more social events and to hold our annual club presentations down there. 
• The most pressing cost we have is to replace the astroturf wicket to enable our training and for Junior teams to play cricket safely from next season.
• The current astroturf wicket is old, worn and is now in a dangerous  state.
