Aim

The original roof of this hall, built in 1852, desperately needs repairs and replacement. It already has a large hole and several leaks.

This historic building, used by the community of Pendeen for 170 years needs your help!

Built by the miners and villagers, using granite quarried from the carn behind, it still amazingly has its original roof, but it now is coming to the end of its life. Already with a large hole over our beloved stage, which has hosted countless shows and Pendeen Pantomime since 1954, the roof is in desperate need of repair and replacement.

We are an independent charity, not connected to the church and so all the funds must be raised by our very small team.

Our main objective is to make this building sing again, and secure its future for the community for many more years to come.

We are hoping to repair our flat roof sections which have been leaking for some time, this includes our little kitchen which hosts an affordable lunch club for older members of the community. We will also need to replace the whole main roof in the future.

This is just the start of a large project but any help we can get is so appreciated. If you can, please donate and share this campaign. Help this special building live on. Thank you from the Pendeen hall team xx
