Raising money to send Cardinal George Pell back to Australia to clear his name on allegations of child sex abuse.
We want to raise money to help Cardinal George Pell travel back to Australia to clear his name on allegations of child sex abuse. Despite being able to travel to London as recently as 2016, Cardinal Pell's lawyers claim that he has come down with a terrible case of hypertension since the accusations have surfaced, meaning he cannot travel.
We have received a quote for a chartered air ambulance and medical staff that comes to £278,000. Let's raise that money together so Cardinal Pell can return to Australia and clear his name!
If for some reason Cardinal Pell still can't travel, we will donate whatever money we have raised to The Blue Knot Foundation, which helps adult survivors of child abuse in Australia.
