Aim
We had a pair of male peking ducks on the local lake one has gone missing I’d like to purchase a mate for the remaining one as he looks sad
I’m a builder and keen angler with an interest in the wildlife on my local lake , Any money raised will go towards buying a mate for the last remaining male Peking duck , the two have been on the lake for the last two or three years and are real characters until a few days ago when one disappeared ,the ducks must have been unwanted pets as they cannot fly so without intervention the remaining one is going to be alone , any money raised above and beyond the target will go towards maintenance and improvements on the lake maybe some plants , last year we had a major oxygen crash not helped by the fact that the lake is heavily silted and very shallow so if enough money is raised we could do something to reduce the silt either chemically or mechanically just anything we can do to improve the habitat for the wildlife .
100% of any money raised will be used to buy whatever’s required the labour will be provided free by volunteers
