Peckham Digital Festival is a 4-day celebration of creative computing in Peckham. We exist to break barriers and expand access to art + tech

Who We Are & Our Vision

Peckham Digital is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company founded by Matt and Bea in late 2020. Over the past five years, we have built a platform that celebrates creative computing through workshops, exhibitions, performances, talks and community-led projects. More recently, our work has been shaped by a dedicated Youth Advisory Board, ensuring that young people play an active role in shaping the future of the festival.

We believe technology should be creative, accessible and open to everyone. Our vision is a Peckham where people of all ages and backgrounds can explore digital culture through hands-on participation, whether that's learning to code, experimenting with AI, creating digital art, or discovering new ways of thinking about technology. Through the festival, we create opportunities for artists, technologists and local communities to come together, share knowledge and imagine new digital futures.

Why We Need This Now

For five years, Peckham Digital has provided free and affordable opportunities for thousands of people to engage with creative technology. From workshops and talks to exhibitions and performances, we have created spaces where curiosity, creativity and experimentation can thrive.

Like many grassroots cultural organisations, we are facing increasing financial pressure following reductions in traditional arts funding. At the same time, demand for our programmes continues to grow. Accessibility has always been at the heart of what we do, which is why we are committed to keeping the festival free and open to as many people as possible.

This crowdfunding campaign will help us deliver our fifth festival: a milestone year that celebrates everything we've achieved while laying the foundations for the future. With your support, we can continue to commission artists, present ambitious new work, and provide meaningful opportunities for communities to engage with creative computing.

How We'll Use Your Money

Every pound raised will go directly towards delivering Peckham Digital Festival 2026.

Your support will help cover artist and creative practitioner fees, venue hire, technical equipment, insurance, photography and documentation, workshop delivery, and the production costs required to stage exhibitions and events across the festival.

Most importantly, your contribution helps us keep the festival accessible, ensuring that people can experience inspiring, hands-on encounters with creative technology regardless of their background or ability to pay. Together, we can continue building a festival that puts creativity, participation and community at the centre of digital culture.
