We are aiming to turn the old social club at the Pebsham Community Hub into a Community Cafe. For everyone to come together and enjoy a brew

We have been fortunate with the great support from RVA who have generously granted funding towards refurbishing the area into a Community Cafe. The purpose for this is to tackle the isolation and social issues identified in Pebsham and to fill in the common gap that many residents will agree that our area doesn't have anywhere to go for a catch up with friends or meet with neighbours over a cup of coffee.
Feedback from recent social media post and letters from residents agreed that having a community cafe in Pebsham is of a great need and will benefit many residents in Pebsham and surrounding areas. Plus there will be volunteering opportunities for the running of the cafe.
However, the funding received will only just about cover the costs of doing the repairs to the ceiling, new electrics, decorating, new flooring and we still need some help with funding other areas to help start off the running of the Community Cafe and make it a success.
Funding needed for items such as:
If you have anything spare you can donate to our fundraiser to help us raise enough funding for the equipment and furniture needed. That would be amazing. Even sharing our fundraiser and spreading the word helps aswell to get us closer to achieving our goal!
Everyone in the community and surrounding areas are welcome to come along to the cafe with their families, friends neighbours, work colleagues and so on. It'll become a great place to meet up for a chat and a coffee.
