The goal is to secure funding to upgrade the store and boost its competitiveness in the online faith-based business market.
The Origin of Pebble of Faith
A few months ago, I envisioned starting an online store offering faith-based clothing, jewelry, home decor, and more. After purchasing several faith-themed items online, I found that while the messages were meaningful, the designs were often too busy. I wanted to create simpler pieces that still conveyed the message of our Lord.

The goal is to use the proceeds from this store to fund Hearts and Hands for Christ, enabling us to expand our outreach and respond promptly to needs without waiting for donations or other funding.
The Origin and Growth of Hearts and Hands for Christ
Founding Story
Three years ago, my husband volunteered with God's Pit Crew to assist following summer flooding in Grundy, VA. During this time, he felt a strong urge one Sunday in October to visit a particular family to check on their progress. Despite numerous promises from other groups and ministries, the family had seen little improvement to their home. That brief visit after church became the catalyst for a group of men from our area coming together to help this family rebuild their house.
What I seen that Sunday months later in that area was nothing short of heartbreaking. The awesome power of water and its ability to destroy within minutes was overwhelming! We found that the family was living in a donated camper, with three of the four members staying inside. One son, physically and developmentally delayed and confined to a wheelchair, shared the space, while the other son, also developmentally delayed, chose to stay in a tent by the river. Over the next several weekends, this group of men dedicated their time to help the family rebuild their lives. By Thanksgiving, the family was back in their home. This experience marked the beginning of Hearts and Hands for Christ.
Ongoing Community Service
The same group of volunteers continues to offer their skills and time, serving people in our community and wherever they feel called. Last year, we made frequent trips to Swannanoa, NC, delivering propane, food, hygiene items, diapers, water, and other necessities. I have since joined my husband in the ministry, managing projects, funding, and resources together. I also accompany him to deliver supplies to areas still suffering from devastation. This work has been the greatest blessing in my life.
We participated in two Christmas projects last year—one in our own community and another in Marshall, NC. We distributed food boxes, household items, coats, clothes, and gifts for children. Witnessing the joy on children’s faces as they received unexpected gifts, and seeing the parents’ reactions, is indescribable.
Funding Appeal for Store Infrastructure Improvements
Current State of Pebble of Faith
The online store, www.pebbleoffaith.com, is currently operational. However, it lacks the essential infrastructure required to compete effectively within the highly competitive online marketplace.
Collaborative Vision and Support
I have established connections with individuals who share my vision for the store. These collaborators are enthusiastic and committed to helping bring this vision to fruition.
Immediate Funding Needs
At this stage, the most pressing need is funding to support critical upgrades for the store. Your donations will directly contribute to enhancing the store’s infrastructure, benefiting both the ministry and those we serve. Furthermore, improvements to the store will help generate additional funding to support our ongoing mission.
