PEAKY D'S vision is to create a fashion brand which will empower and support local communities within the Digbeth & Birmingham

PEAKY D'S VISION

PEAKY D'S is a trademarked brand that is looking for crowdfunding to kick start its first production cycle of period inspired caps based on the popular Peaky Blinders franchise. Production will be based within the Digbeth and Small Heath areas and local sourcing is a priority for materials.

PEAKY D'S aims to create a legacy from a rich storied heritage within the local areas into real opportunities and success for the people who where born and bred within the communities that inspired the popular TV show Peaky Blinders.

PEAKY D'S PRODUCT

The initial product will be the iconic flat caps, featuring stainless steel laser cut branding featuring the razor blade outline and PEAKYD'S logo. Each will be hand crafted and made locally, within the streets that the TV show is based. Funding will be used to recruit, train and establish skills within these areas and provide materials to produce the first off products.

If the concept is popular then PEAKY D'S will launch further product offerings from accessories to garments, maintaining the ethos of local manufacture and personal development. 

THE WHY

Small Heath and Digbeth born and bred, the Peaky Blinders left a legacy that has now been transcribed on to screen. Both of these areas are thriving social living quarters rich with history but in need of re-development and opportunities for the people that live there.

Peaky D's, a brand of Freestate of Digbeth Ltd, are seeking to develop on these opportunities created by the popular TV franchise of Peaky Blinders to provide jobs and opportunities to people within the local area to work for a brand they can feel proud of and that is focused on growing trade and commerce in a socially responsible and productive way.

A minimum of 20% of profit generated through the continued business of Peaky D's is gauranteed to be returned to local charities and social enterprises to ensure the local area can flourish and grow.
