UK Nationwide Outdoor Vending Machine Project

Aim

We want to place handy vending machines in outside locations all over the United Kingdom. Outdoor machines with random essentials and food.

Read the rest at peaksim.com but; Well there I was, the head of Peak crew awakening upon the sublime mattress of Peak city (Peak crew is myself and my dog, Peak city is our house) and feeling a bit peckish.

Having had a late night and not having made a recent supermarket order for delivery I had neither toast nor the will to bake bread. Alas, thought I,

"If that vending machine on the platform down at the station had anything passing as a decent junk food brekkie, a waffle, a croissant perhaps, why I'd hop on my bicycle and go and give the machine my money right now!"

There's a co-op within shouting distance of my front door but I haven't been inside it for 34 days at the time of writing this anecdote. I haven't been inside a shop since the strict social distancing measures were bought in. I used to nip in to the local co-op once or twice a week.                                        

And so the idea was born, out of necessity.
