Our Mission is to make a transformative impact in the gold industry and jewellery profession by setting a standard for ethical business practices in conflict affected high risk regions (CAHRAs) of the world (notably eastern Democratic Republic of Congo), through using gold as a tool for peace-building and prioritising community well-being.

We are establishing PeaceGold as a pioneering social enterprise in the ethical gold export and bullion industry. We are collaborating with local artisanal small-scale gold mining organisation (ASMO's), ensuring best in class transparency & due diligence in our supply chain, promoting peace, upholding human rights & empowering communities through community development initiatives.

We work with international ethical jewellers to build a global consensus for peace, justice, upholding of human rights and inclusion of artisanal small-scale miners into the global supply chain for jewellery, electronics and bullion markets.

PeaceGold is a Community Interest Company (CIC) registered in the UK. Our social enterprise model has been incubated from within the PeaceGold movement/network of not for profit peace builders, the local communities and small-scale gold mining cooperatives.

Our Theory of Change helps to see the complexity alongside the process for bringing change that we have developed over the last 6 years of work with communities.

Jewellers Participation. We want to see a international network of ethical jewellers adopting PeaceGold for use in their jewellery creation. 

Membership guarantees first access to the PeaceGold when it comes the market. Your membership fee helps us to create the transformative narrative with consumers, that jewellery creates peace & justice in our world.

We have identified that £50,000 will enable us to achieve the following foundational building blocks for the establishment of PeaceGold Congo - a Congolese based social enterprise.

• Presentation to Congolese Government of PeaceGold
• Creation of our Social Impact Investment Offer
• PeaceGold Congo company set up and registration
• Orientation and workshop with PeaceGold cooperatives around the business model.

The long term financial credibility of PeaceGold can be easily demonstrated and supported with a robust legal compliance framework and our social impact operational model. Alongside our community peace building partners jewellery membership enables us to achieve our primary objectives; export gold, engage the international supply chain, create wealth and social impact and return this wealth to the communities we partner with in eDRC and beyond in conflict affected regions of our world.
