Aim
I'm kicking off a healthier year with Dry January. To motivate me more, I'm attaching the effort to this charity fundraising for Shelter.
I'm definitely no stranger to a drink or two, nor the food the goes with it. Alcohol in = dietary restraint out of the window. My waistline will testify that the end result isn't great. So I'm going to take a break, for the duration of January at the least, and just in case my motivation is tested, I'm adding the fear of charitable disappointment to the drivers :)
Shelter is a great charity that helps people find, and retain, quality housing, and fight against the worst behaviours of slum landlords. (Who doesn't need a roof over their head in our climate?)
